Situated on the coastline of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, our 25 year old Te Awanga estate enjoys a warm, extended growing season and the benefit of cleansing sea breezes. A producer of handmade, award winning wines with great fruit intensity, our full bodied reds and iconic whites are long acknowledged amongst the best in New Zealand.

Our extensive range includes the multi GOLD medal winning Clearview Reserve Chardonnay, as well as a range of GOLD medal and TROPHY winning Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot blends. Our wines are served in over 20 New Zealand embassies or delegations around the world and our unique Sea Red fortified dessert wine is served at New Zealand state banquets.

Established in 1986, the winery had its first vintage in 1989. Our ?ered shed’ winery restaurant, opened in 1992, was the first vineyard restaurant in the country and continues to be popular with both local and international visitors. Today the business is still proudly owned and operated by Tim Turvey and Helma van den Berg.

In 2009 Clearview Estate sponsored The Exceptional Exhibition of Oscar winning Weta Studios in Chengdu, China and in 2010 hosted guests at the New Zealand Pavillion at the World Expo in Shanghai. Clearview wine is available throughout New Zealand and internationally. Our export markets include Australia, USA, Canada, Brazil, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Europe.
