Health food producer are about to release a propolis throat spray and manuka oil, with more new products in the pipeline. Some of them will be brand new product types never seen before, says managing director Rob McConnachie.
Most of NZ Health Naturally’s product range is based on honey, with Unique Manuka Factor (UMF) honey playing a large part.
While all honey is active, honey from the native New Zealand manuka (Leptospermum Scoparium) offers extraordinary, natural and powerful non-peroxide antibacterial activity not found in any other variety of honey.
This unique antibacterial activity is over and above the usual active properties of honey, and sets manuka honey apart as one of nature’s true wonder foods, says Rob.
NZ Health Naturally sells a range of UMF manuka honeys, native bush honey (from kamahi, rewarewa, tawari and honeydew), clover honey, pohutukawa honey and other bee products such as royal jelly and propolis. In addition, there are also health supplements such as colostrum, green lipped mussel, bilberry & grape seed, and Omega 3.
These products have been developed by an expert team, including pharmacist Richard Turnball, co-founder of NZ Health Naturally.
We’re growing rapidly in export market, says Rob. Some 99% of the company’s sales are to countries such as Japan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Poland, Italy and Canada.
