Peter Shakes draws inspiration from the world around us, from the interlacing knot-work from the treasured book of Kells, movie star iconic style, and the many wonders of nature. Collections include Celtic Class, Web of Gold and Nugget & Pearl collections. The Celtic Class wedding band range is probably the most notable, while the Sunrise Sunset Web of Gold pendant was so popular in the 2007 National Jewellery Showcase held in Wellington that the piece won the People’s Choice Award for the Fine Jewellery category.
