Wendy Mo
Executive Director
Wendy Mo has lived and worked in China for a number of years, honing her international skills in the finance and insurance sectors in China and Hong Kong. Wendy has an MBA and Master’s Degree in economics and finance and has over 10 years’ marketing and management experience in large Chinese corporations. As a co-owner of a family hardware manufacturer in China, she has intensive knowledge in export marketing, with the companies’ wrought iron products having been exported to Australia, New Zealand and Asian for nearly 20 years. Wendy moved to New Zealand in 2001 and has run her own successful import and export trading company in Auckland. Wendy is well known in the business sector as a mentor to companies that need management advice and assistance, particular in the export sector. Frank Li
President of New Zealand Trade Centre China Ltd
Asian Development Director Frank Li has an MBA Degree and has a background in the international finance sector as a banker in China. Working with the Bank of China for over 22 years, has enabled Frank to gain a deep understanding of Asian business protocol and cultural understanding of a diverse customer base. He has also built up a wide business network crossing many different industries. Since moving to New Zealand in 2001, he has facilitated several successful international trading deals between New Zealand and other Asian countries. With a deep knowledge of the finance and investment sector in the Asian marketplace, Frank has the ability to facilitate business connections between offshore investors and New Zealand companies. Bruce Bell
Vice President – Business Development and Investment
Bruce Bell has extensive experience across a broad range of industries including retail, manufacturing and marketing. He has extensive experience working in offshore markets and has owned and operated an innovative international company from conceptual stage to launching on the international market. Bruce brings to NZTC a thorough knowledge of trading skills and is prominent in the identification and matching of offshore investors and New Zealand companies wishing to grow and expand their operations to compete in international markets. Paula Folkard
Vice President – Operations
Paula Folkard has a professional back ground in Sales and Marketing and Account Management. Paula has been involved in innovative and forward thinking companies across the real estate sector and wine industry. Paula brings to NZTC strong operational skills. She is responsible for the Ingenuity Centre and is in charge of the project to develop an exporter’s retail outlet for our export partners. Jenny Craig
Vice President – Sales and Marketing
Jenny Craig has a Degree in Public Relations and Advertising and over 15 years’ experience in sales and marketing roles. Jenny has worked with high profile media agencies in New Zealand and in London and has worked with companies to enhance brand awareness by developing new product concepts and driving these to market launch. Jenny works closely with companies to develop a point of difference based on market research and the latest international consumer trends. Elsie Wong
Accountant
Elsie Wong is a member of the Chartered Accountant of NZICA and has a Degree of Bachelor and Diploma of Commerce, majoring in accounting & finance at University of Auckland. She has over 10 years in Chartered Accountant industry with experience in taxation and business advisory services. She was a company accountant for an aviation insurance broker with overseas offices.
