n our quest to craft the best wines, we have turned to natural organic farming practices on our 24 hectare vineyard in Whitford. The winery is fully certified organic and is now progressing towards bio‐dynamic management.
All our wines are made organically, that means without the use of any industrial chemicals or pesticides. We also manage our vineyard bio-dynamically using our own compost and preparations. The objective is to get lively soils and vines that will provide us with outstanding grapes. Working the soil under the vines to control weeds rather than spraying and flowering crops on every third row to attract beneficial insects are a few examples of the day to day efforts that we make to deliver unique and expressive wines.
The Turanga Creek Signature Viognier is a voluptuous wine, light straw in colour. It displays fragrant aromas of peach, honeysuckle and apricots, even orange blossom, with a touch of subtle spice. The palate is rich and textured showing an almost oily mouth-feel and a lingering dry finish. Excellent varietal flavours. Great with spicy foods and rich seafood, game and pungent cheeses.

The rich and pure style of this wine inspired the name “Le Pur” – “The Pure”. The nose reveals aromas of pear, melon, white flowers with a hint of lychee. The palate is completed by crisp lime juice notes, intense light spices and a lingering finish. A very elegant and well balanced Pinot Gris.
