On 9th of June, the delegation of Kaifeng Municipal Government visited New Zealand Trade Centre.
Kaifeng is one of the major seven ancient capitals in China. It’s also called the “capital city of seven dynasties”. Located in the east of China’s Henan Province, the ancient city of Kaifeng is among the first batch of state-level historical and cultural cities publicized by the Chinese government.
The delegation presented videos introducing the history, culture and current development of Kaifeng. President of NZTC, Adam Martin welcomed the delegation in traditional Maori words, and made a presentation of New Zealand’s business environment, premium products, export trading and relationship with China. The parties expressed willingness for further communication and cooperation.
